Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13 January, 1981) is an American actor from the United States. His first appearance on television, Evans played characters such as Opposite sexuality in the year 2000. Following his appearance in a variety of teenage films, like Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, he was renowned for his portrayal of the Marvel Comics Character the Human Torch. Evans also appeared in the movie versions of comics and graphic novels TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). As well as his part as Steve Rogers/Captain America Evans earned him recognition for his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. His role in the Marvel series established him as one of the highest paid actors.
