Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actress, who has worked on TV and in films is most well-known for her roles in films such as Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was 16she already secured a number of TV roles including the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. Her fame was due to her performance as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable parts, such as Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this female diva. Through the years, Alexandra has been involved in a variety of noteworthy national and international projects. They include The British biographical Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time and as the French Historical Miniseries Napoleon. She also served on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and was also a juror at Cannes Film Festival.
